Ideas for Bingo MarkersĪs you play the game, you and your kids will need to mark the images on the card as they are called. It is possible to have more than one winner. The first person to get 5 images in a row (you can allow all directions, vertical, horizontal, and diagonal or just a few) shouts “Bingo” and is the winner of the game. Draw a calling card one by one and give the players time to mark the called image on their card. Give each student or family member one or more bingo cards. Place them into a bag or a jar (if it’s a clear jar, fold the calling cards so you won’t see what’s on them). You can get kids talking, bonding and opening up with the right kid questions. As you decide which icebreakers to use, ensure that kids feel equally included and welcome. Print out the calling cards and cut them out. Psychologically, sitting in a circle helps children feel a sense of belonging within their classroom. If you laminate the cards, you can use them for years to come however, they won’t work with bingo daubers. Regular print paper works out well, but you can also use cardstock.
